Instead of criticizing the call, explain what they should have done. Be like the expert official that they bring on during NFL games that give real-time officiating analysis!

What should the officials have done? Not blowing the whistle is fair. So, when a penalty does occur, what do you do? You can’t not call the penalty so it has to be dead ball since it technically wasn’t a live ball at that point.

So, what’s your productive suggestion? Anyone could say they need to blow the whistle. We all know that. That’s not good video content. And it would have been a horrible call had they blown the whistle when it was a fumble.

So, productive suggestions would be great but rote complaining is just unproductive energy.
