just for perception purposes we need to add more teams to keep up with the Jonses. And adding teams that are already P5 is what we need to do. And we can't wait until they are back in the Mountain West to do it. That would look awful perception-wise. No instead we are grabbing P5's from one P5(albeit a dying one) conference to another. That is the perception. This will help us keep up (relatively) with the P2 and position us as P3. It's us versus the ACC right now and we have the easier access to adding more P5 teams. They don't have the geography luxury.
