PAC big brands to the P2 is almost as damaging to the Big 12. Big 12 doesn’t have big brands and desperately needs them to qualify as a third superconference. You need UW, Oregon at a minimum.

Some cbers yesterday highlighting some talking head saying BYU is the biggest brand in current Big 12 thinking it’s a good thing and pounding their chests. It’s a bad thing folks.

In what world is the P2 going to accommodate a 3rd conference, made up of teams it didn’t want, to play for its championships? Yes, PAC will die a faster death, but Big 12 death (as a tier 1 qualifier) is inevitable too if its qualifications are current conference members plus some leftovers (Utah included).
