The commissioner simply needs to be a great leader, negotiator and bring good ideas. You could say that hiring someone from "inside" college athletics is a High risk higher. Especially with everything changing so quickly.

Because he doesn’t have much experience with college athletics. Has never worked

Scott's issue was he had a Fox background with regional cable units. So he did the same with the P12. Big mistake,
