Giff, Marc Wilson, McMahon, and maybe Young were all on the roster at the
same time. They had to compete and Jim was miffed when he had to redshirt Wilson’s senior year. They were not coddled.
Of course LaVell did not think of pulling Bosco. Who would he put in? Blaine Fowler was a solid back-up, but not starter material. The cupboard was bare behind Bosco.
