I’d rather just go someplace real, have real experiences, meet real people…
and do real things. Disney has absolutely no substance, no soul. I get people who want to experience it once. I don’t get people who continually go back to that place when they could just as easily be on their own beach in Fiji, hiking in Torres del Paine National Park, wandering the streets of Marrakech, or taking in the splendor of the Julian Alps for less money.
The greatest attractions at Disney are cheap facsimile’s of the real thing. The world is too amazing to spend time in Disney theme parks.

The crowds are what makes Disneyland awful. I might go back if they found a price point that kept the crowds down

Demand for Disneyland tickets is very inelastic. Raise prices 10% and it only decreases demand by a couple % points.

Staying at the Grand Californian is amazing. You can hop back to the hotel for a nap/swim/etc right from the park.
