Can't understand why people pay $600-$800 a night to stay at a Disney hotel.
They must have more money to waste than me. Stay off property at least and you'll pay a tiny fraction of that.

The crowds are what makes Disneyland awful. I might go back if they found a price point that kept the crowds down

Demand for Disneyland tickets is very inelastic. Raise prices 10% and it only decreases demand by a couple % points.

Staying at the Grand Californian is amazing. You can hop back to the hotel for a nap/swim/etc right from the park.
