Someone driving drunk who gets a DUI pays a fine and maybe does some treatment. If they unintentionally hit and kill someone, the legal consequences increase significantly.

This is no different.

There's risk in a physical confrontation due to an emotional reaction to situations. Chances of Rudy tripping Morris and him braking something is minimal. But if it happened, I'm OK with there being consequences. If Rudy trips Morris, who then breaks something, do you think he gets the simple technical he got? Or does he then get ejected? I suspect the latter.
