Eddie Intervention Needed

When there are injuries caused by intentional fouls like that, part of me...

...thinks that the offender should have to sit out until the injured player can return to play. And maybe have to donate half of their salary during that time to the team that lost a player. There should be serious consequences when a player does something intentional like that and seriously hurts someone else.
