Considering competitive price of BYU, often true.

But if you offered me a scholarship that made school free or close to free, that is still a big savings over BYU. And there are great schools where you can have great experiences.

Sometimes we say "BYU isn't for everybody" and it comes off as a slight for the people that BYU isn't for. But, really, some great, LDS people are better served going elsewhere. I'm glad I don't have to make those decisions for other people.
