If you look at Brian's resume at the U and Brandon's at the Y, it's nearly identical. They both were promoted and struggled with being in an OC role and play calling. Play calling was taken away and was offered demotion. Brian stayed in coaching essentially took a demotion, Brandon left coaching altogether. If Brandon had taken a QB coach job at another University rather than leaving coaching altogether it would have been very similar.
