If you listen to his interview on 1280 today he hinted the School agreed to

Take care of him financially as part of the firing. I assume he got some severance or buyout.

Who knows if that was part of the deal all along or if the drama was part of plot to get more (or some) money as he left.

He was all class in the interview.
