He went backward after Utah OC>QB coach with a pay cut
Very few Offensive coaches leave utah for better positions, they go sideways or backwards, the OC position under KWhitt has an average life span of between 1-2 years.
Norm Chow is probably the only offensive coach that left for a better / higher paying job of any significance in the KWhitt era, and it wasn't because of what he did at Utah, that is a brutal track record.
