In 2018 & 2019 there is a long list of explanations but the fact is, his results were not superstar level. This year he has looked brilliant against weak opponents but poor against CC and not Heisman level against SDS. I think he's great but don't buy that his year was legendary...and, certainly, the previous two weren't.

The eye test is fine, but sometimes it turns out to be an optical illusion and, in reality, a superstar is just a star.
