so part of your overall premise is that BYU should be trying to trick fans,
recruits, and the college football leaders into thinking that BYU is better than they really are?
I know a lot of fans can be tricked that way. and the recruits are teenagers and they can definitely be bamboozled.
Maybe it is the way to go. For me personally, I am not going to be tricked into thinking that a 10-1 BYU against a horrible schedule is better than a 7-6 BYU who played a super difficult schedule.
