This was a one and done, set up when Tuckett was acting AD of Alabama a few years earlier, I think (or perhaps right after, based on the relationships he developed there). Alabama had a hole in their home schedule, and agreed that BYU would fill it.

But I agree about the game--I watched it on TV. BYU played well, but just could not catch a break. I think the killer fumble was on a snap from the second string center who had just entered the game.
