Sadly, BYU has fallen behind.

I went to both schools but only root for BYU. However, I know a lot of yewts, many of them activated in recent years. So it's become pretty common for family and friends to be rooting for the U these days. I don't like it but that's how it is.

One of my friends is a long-time rabid BYU fan and former player but his kid got a scholarship at the U, wasn't offered by BYU. So he had to kind of switch loyalties. I know it must have killed him inside but it's what he had to do for his son. I still do a double-take when I see him in Ute gear. It's just wrong but I understand it. We'd all do the same.
