There’s a difference between “excusing” his actions and
Cruel and unusual punishment.
I think he deserves the second thoughts and changes in behavior that others make when considering him as their dentist.
I don’t think he deserves threats, professional censure, or calls for his firing. Let people vote with their pocket book and their feet. But don’t actively seek to destroy his life.
UU could consider action but I think a lifetime ban is ridiculous.
