It's 100% attendance smack no matter what you try to call it
And in this particular instance, you guys are talking about empty seats during halftime of a rainy game.
And if the University sells every ticket, is it a sellout? If a bunch of fans decided not to go to the game because of the rain, is it still a sellout? If a bunch of fans decide that Northern Illinois on a Saturday mid-day isn't worth their time, but they still bought the tickets, is it a sellout?
The thing is, who cares? Do Ute fans really come on here and brag non-stop about sellouts? I don't think anyone really cares with the exception of when they are talking about expansion. This topic gets brought up 100x more by BYU fans than Utah fans. And why is that? Because it's attendance smack. You might as well own it.
