LauterBrunnen reminds me of Telluride Co. Yosemite/Glacier NP's are amazing
and don't cost as much to visit as Switzerland. Climb half dome and drive the going to the sun road in Glacier, as good as anything in the world IMO.
So much awesome stuff in the West that people overlook or don't take the time to do because it's not exotic and far away. Devils tower in Wyoming if it were in Europe would be more of a worldwide phenomenon like Stonehenge. But it's in dumpy wyoming.
Saw lots of crazy awesome stuff in Costa Rica but sliding down a slide/waterfall was totally cool.
