and in the top 5 in TD's. I'm going off the stats not off of a recruiting site ranking. On 247 he is ranked as the 37th dual threat QB in the country, I think that qualifies as one of the best in the country. As of yesterday 247 had him the #1 QB in the state of Utah and the 12th overall recruit from Utah.
He set 4 state records and finished with the 3rd most yards in a season in state history and top 5 in TDs for a season. He's the favorite to be the 6A MVP, that is Utah's highest classification.
He only got to start one year so he is underranked, if he'd had two years and put up those stats he'd be much higher ranked for sure, in fact he only just got ranked on 247 in the last week and Rivals doesn't have anything on him at all.
I can only go off of what coaches tell us but there are those who think he is a top 10 QB but the way recruiting sites works just doesn't help him. Only started one year, didn't go to camps because he is a multi sport (with D1 offers in two sports I might add) who played baseball all spring when camps are held.
But even at that he is a 3 star QB with multiple D1 offers so you'd probably have to credit him with being one of the best in the country.
