most positionally sound LBs you will ever see. He also directs the entire D, which I never see Takitaki do. Barton's stats are slightly better across the board. Additionally, Bernard was better as a sophomore than Takitaki as a sophomore, and Bernard backs up Barton. Now, if Takitaki had spent 4 years in Utah's D, learning the position then maybe he would be able to play ahead of Barton, but I haven't seen anything from him that makes me think he'd play over Barton.
This isn't a slight against Takitaki; he would start on almost all Utah defenses historically, it just so happens that Utah almost only plays 2 LBs and they are both really good in this D.
Disagree on the TEs. I think Holker and Kuithe are similar; almost the same size and similar speed. Kuithe has also improved significantly at blocking. Their receiving stats are similar despite my sense that Holker has gotten a few more snaps and has gone up against inferior defense.
That said, Fotheringham seems to be the most complete TE on either team. His receiving stats are similar to Holker, but he is a fantastic blocker as well.
Bushman has been weird, his stats are still solid but he has taken a big step back and seems to be a liability as a blocker in the run game and passing game. I don't know what happened to him; I would have killed to have him a year ago.
