the other issue on the 3rd and 3 is that Cal has loaded their right side
of the line with a TE and BYU is shifted all the way to their right (Cal's left) and are completely out numbered on the side Cal clearly wanted to run the ball to. There is no reason for Takitaki to be on that side of the line - you also have Wilcox over there. you only need one or the other over there in case they run that direction, not both. and why Wilcox? why not a linebacker? you know with every fiber of your being they aren't throwing that direction.
BYU's defense has been good enough to win two games this year, but the coaching has been pretty suspect under Kalani/Tuiaki for 3 years now.
