On the drive home, she told me that she won, because they were really close to being first place. I told her it's awesome that she felt like she did a good job, because she really did great, but that actually only the first place team really "won." She argued back with me that she pretty much won, and I emphasized that it's okay not to win every time, and that you can still be proud of your good effort, but that actually winning means that you take first place.
