Look into Link Interactive, used to be sold through Costco

Seemed like a happy medium between DYI and monitored, with more reasonable monitoring rates than companies like Vivint or ADT.

For those that use Vivint for home security/automation...what are your thoughts?

If you have those other things then I disagree with your wife that you need to also be paying a vivant subscription
