I explained it in both of the call to contribute and the email to Tom. The idea is to get as many people on board as we can as a gesture of support. I want the guys to know their fans are behind them even when the chips are down.

I'd love for this to be a significant amount financially but I also appreciate how hard it is for a lot of people to do much. Several people responded to this call for contributions even though they are financially strapped right now, but they wanted to do something to show their support. This is meant to be an avenue to redirect some of the frustration we are all feeling right now in a positive direction.

I believe we do more to define ourselves during the tough times than the good times. I want our team to know they have a fan base that backs them through thick and thin.
