Kind of dangerous to get overinvested in one place - especially if it is the
place you work. Having been around in the days on Enron, etc. I saw a lot of people get wiped out pretty quickly.
My wife's company has an ESPP and we max out what we can do on it. We get 15% discount of the lower of 1st day or last day of every 6 month period. Our plan has always been to dump it as soon as we get it because we just look at it like a relatively risk-free 15%. We were very fortunate to dump it quickly last month since it dropped about 30% a week or so after we sold it. The stock is PSO.
