Coach 80K is a better coach, imho. No. He won't be coming to Provo. In fact, no PAC 12 coach will be coming.

The choices are slim - I almost said Few - just look back in time in football or basketball. Same story.

Dave Rose was a BYU assistant coach before he got the job. Pretty ordinary pedigree prior to that.

Steve Cleveland was a JC coach before arriving to replace Roger Red and before dumping BYU for Fresno Freaking State, who then fired him.

I forget what pedigree Roger Reid had before coming to BYU. He actually had a more impressive pedigree after BYU fired him.

We will not get Danny Ainge. Can't even get his son, apparently. Someone posted that he is not an active member of The Church - a requirement for the job.
