Criteria can be argued and other factors. you chose losing to only bowl eligible teams and being ranked.. how about beating winning record teams? Conference championships or placemetns? Beating or not losing to Utah? I agree that the four year span you cite is a good one, but it CAN be argued that others are better. Our bowl games in that span for instance were not all that spectacular. Were our losses bad losses? losing to a bowl eligivle team doesn't mean we didn;t lose to a bad team nor does it mean we lost to a good one...
