Would we be stuck waiting to fill the Humanitarian Bowl when the ACC fails to get six bowl eligible teams? What Bowl game is going to give us an exclusive contract? We wouldn't get any $$ from the bowl games and would be stuck playing crappy schools all year long (worse than our current schedule).

Recruiting takes a hit. No bowl tie ins, no conference championship games etc...No set schedule of teams every year.

BYU is not going to go independent. It is a bad idea and Holmoe and everyone else knows it.
