My numbers shot up to that a year ago. I got them back down w/ diet & exercise
Diet:
- cholestoff, amla powder, psyllium husk, fish oil, whey protein + a couple handfuls of nuts every day.
- I reduced calories (I eat two meals a day), but increased fiber. One of my meals is usually just fruits and veggies.

Exercise
- got back into running/weight lifting. My cholesterol jumped when I hurt my back and couldn't really exercise for 1-2 years. So if you're not exercising much, maybe get back into it. I've been aggressive ... about 90 minutes a day.

My overall cholesterol is around 200 now. I want to get it lower, so I'm still trying to be aggressive with it. I also did the calcium scan everyone is talking about. It's lik $80 in Orem at the hospital if you're in Utah County.
