They are fans. That's it. Losing sucks. I don't expect the people in the stands around me to somehow express that the loss needs context, as other great teams have experienced similar fates. Heck, I don't care if they don't know basic rules, like how 2-for-1 free throws work. They are enjoying a game, not running the team.
