You must not watch who is drafted every year. A 6'9'', long arms, big first step
guy who can rebound, pass and dribble. You are looking at an 18 year old my friend. If this guy had two years of NCAA basketball under his belt and was healthy he would be tearing this place apart. The NBA can see that and they will not hesitate to see what he can become. They don't look at a guy tearing it up in NCAA the same way they look at a guy who they can imagine with NBA spacing and NBA level talent on his team. Not sure how you are missing that.

He is 18 and been playing in this league for a couple weeks after an injury. No one said he is going to carry a team in the NBA right away. His value is in the vast upside that could mean an all-star. Only one or two guy at the top are expected to carry their team early.
