It certainly could. It could also be a worse team and win more games.
Schedule and timing of injuries and such.
BYU SHOULD have been 12-1 this year. I know you can't say that as we are what our record says we are. But we were the better team in the Kansas game.
Now we won a few games where I would say it was 50/50 as well, but not really any where I would say the other team was the better team. I would also say the Arizona St game was 50/50.
