Joel Klatt was talking about how too much travel can be too hard for fans
How can fans be expected to travel multiple times for bowl destinations, especially at the last minute?
For example, is it reasonable for Ohio State fans to have to travel to Pasadena, then to Dallas the next week then to Atlanta the next? That's pretty hard.
