Re: #3, I think they need to get rid of the corner 3 altogether. Keep the court the same size and have the 3 pointer extend OOB and make it so a shot from the corner is 2 points — while moving the 3 further back. That would impact the game in a real way, and I think for the better.

I think widening the court wouldn't take away the corner 3 at all. It would just further space out defenses and make it harder to play defense, IMO. I think players would get better at shooting and it would have an impact for 2-3 years and the percentage of 3 point shots would be the same as today within 3-4 years.
