Against him is he didn’t play a good schedule, yet he ran all over the #1 team in the nation and almost single-handedly beat them.
Boise also trailed in the 4th Quarter and needed Jeanty to score six touchdowns to win in week one. Oregon only gave up 49 rushing yards against Idaho. Their offense had some issues that got worked out, but their run defense was fine.
Penn State was the only other team that had a player go for over 100 yards rushing against Oregon, Jeanty almost hit 200.
