We did Gabb. Gabb was much better than Gizmo because you can text message outside of the app. We actually just switched
my oldest son (12) to an Apple Watch for Christmas. Trying to hold off on getting him a phone for as long as possible. Fortunately he hasn't even asked for a cell phone yet.
