My son had two serious concussions when he was twelve that scrambled his brain.
His symptoms weren’t as severe as what your daughter is experiencing.
We followed all the concussion protocols and were doing everything the doctors advised but nothing seemed to help him.
We found out about Dr Alina Fong at CognitiveFX in Provo who did a functional MRI to identify which parts of the brain weren’t functioning properly (which parts were effectively shut down) and which parts of the brain were working overtime to compensate for those that were shut down.
Their therapy helped his brain reset and start to function normally again. It was a miracle for us.
At that time, they didn’t accept health insurance, so everything was out of pocket. I imagine that’s still their policy. But it was so worth it for us.
Good luck. I hope your daughter is able to have a full recovery.
