I am BYU to the core. With everything at stake at this level, this is a business
decision. Andrew still has a chance to make it to the NFL and if that's still his goal, he needs to choose well to give himself the best chance at development as a player.

Funk nearly wrecked Caleb Etienne's opportunity to play at the next level. Thank goodness Etienne had an additional year with decent coaching to get things straightened out. Now he has a shot at the NFL. Imagine where his prospects could be if he had great coaching every year.

When one has the opportunity to make beyond generational wealth, and when one is not ignorant of the circumstances that we’re going on with the poor OL coaching at BYU, it would have been an unreasonable risk for Andrew Gentry to go to BYU. As things stand, he received several years of top level coaching and still has an opportunity to play for a number of top programs for two years to take a shot at the NFL.
