Many comments are simply predicting the CFP not necessarily promoting BSU.
You can say BYU should be in & maybe there’s a case there but that’s not reality or even the conversation. BSU will be in due to being top G5. BYU really isn’t even being compared to BSU since they’re coming from a totally different pool of teams.
