I'm only saying that the basketball program is doing something that would have been unfathomable a few years ago. The first step was a financial commitment that allowed them to offer KY a top 10 salary and field competitive NIL packages for top recruits.

If a similar amount of money were available for the football team you could have a much better coaching staff, and have a much better chance at landing recruits, especially top LDS recruits. There is likely to be 4 LDS qb's starting for their teams in the college football playoff this year.

And while it's true that single basketball player can have much more of a positive impact for their team than a single football player, I don't think a single basketball player could have as much of a negative impact as an awful qb!
