The PAC will be the default 5th power conference, albeit with a much smaller media deal. Though that deal will be well above the rest of the G5 leagues. I fully expect them to add Memphis & Tulane as well. 4 out of 5 years that league will get the G5 bid to the CFP. 10 years from now it will be New Mexico's goal to join the PAC. And though Utah State will be at a resource disadvantage vs the rest of the PAC, they have proven they can be competitive with those schools and have been able to win the league occasionally.
