I mean if you have solid play at the other position groups, you might only need

an average QB. Matt Flynn and Chris Leak won national championships with pretty pedestrian numbers. We can win with Jake as long as he can limit his turnovers and improve his decision making. He needs to try and be less of a gamer and more of a game manager. Make the simple play.
