My big concern this season was that Utah would have the expected good season, BYU would have the expected terrible season and then Utah would kill us in 2026 in-state recruiting to put their boot on BYU's throat.

Suffice it to say that hasn't happened. Getting Pay and especially getting Kalaniuvalu to flip has us finishing with what I'd guess (haven't run numbers yet) is one of our best recruiting classes in a long while.

And the 2026 class is loaded so this is a great time be coming off a special season while Utah is struggling both on the field and in the locker room
