There might have been a grounding infraction, but there wasn't an acknowledgement of it, nor was there any sort of markoff for it.

The QB threw the ball from the ASU 40, so that wasn't the spot either.

By rule, the intentional grounding penalty requires intent. ASU intent wasn't to avoid loss of yardage but to burn clock
