1) We haven't had a big recruiting class--Jay Hill did relatively well in his first attempt. Excited to see what he does next

2) We haven't yet had a full Big12 budget--I don't see how getting that hurts us

3) Our current staff has had all of 1 complete season together. They delivered a massive improvement over year 1. That's assured. Will another year bring further improvements? I don't know. It seems reasonable to hope for, although I don't know that our record necessarily improves, as the bar there is now pretty high.

I'd love to see us get back on track and win at least a couple more--Houston and then a bowl game or the conference championship. Do that, and it's an amazing year. I don't know that we improve on something like that immediately, but there are decent reasons to hope for more good things ahead.
