The paper distributors came and took away the original papers they had delivered to us, and replaced them with updated papers with Kennedy news on the day of the shooting. We first heard the news over the intercom at school. I remember a couple of days later Dad drove us thru downtown Dallas which was a traffic jam of cars wanting to see where the President had been shot. I also remember watching the funeral a few days later on the new 'color' TV. Most people were very shocked that this could have happened at all, especially in Texas.
