Other eastern and southern Europeans had a more comparable shared American experience to black Americans then the Polynesians who began coming to America in the 1980’s and 1990’s and the Italians and Greeks didn’t own black slaves either so are they allowed to use the N word based on the logic you explained?
I can show you articles of the KKK coming to Utah for the Greeks. I can show you articles of anti-Greek riots in Toronto and Boston. I can show you where unions refused to allow the “Greek rats” to join them. None of this history was a part of the modern Polynesian American experience so based on your logic — Greek Americans should be licensed to use the N word because they were once targeted and since they never owned black slaves.
