The SEC is NOT better and have only created special advantages for themselves.
Advantages:
1. 8 conference games only: Limits the number of losses in conference.
2. Playing a weak OOC schedule
3. Playing in a small geography: When you play your schedule and hardly leave your own state...let alone have to change time zones? Yeah...weak.
4. ESPN constantly hyping them as the BEST conference? Yeah...they have their own propaganda machine.
5. ESPN pushing the SEC into as many playoff spots as possible.
6. Not playing everyone in conference.
It all feels like CFB is being run by the Mob who is rigging the system.
